What makes Empire different than other website companies like GoDaddy or Squarespace?

We are the first website builder that does not make you actually build anything. With do-it-yourself website builders, most people get frustrated with the learning curve, constant upgrades, and most of all, the lack of customization. This is why I designed the Template Package, which gives small business and self-starters agency level designs with premium hosting, all at an affordable price.

HOW IS MY SITE BUILT WITH THE TEMPLATE PACKAGE?

After you submit all the questionnaires, we will customize your chosen theme to fully match your brand. We include premium assets with every build at no extra charge and offer copywriting as an add-on.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE BEFORE MY WEBSITE BECOMES LIVE?

TEMPLATE DESIGN (TD) PACKAGE
A T.D. Package will take 2-7 days after all questionnaires have been submitted.

CUSTOM DESIGN (CD) PACKAGE
A C.D. Package will take 14-60 days after a S.O.W. has been agreed to.

DO YOU REGISTER DOMAIN NAMES?

No, but we will help you register your domain name. It is recommended for business owners to register their own domain names. Once you have found your new domain and registered it, we can point your DNS A record to your new site & hosting server.

Why do you use Stripe and not Paypal for the Payment Merchant Account?

We include a setup of a Standard Stripe Account which will allow the customer to remain on your webpage while making their purchase(s).

CAN I SETUP SUBSCRIPTIONS?

Yes, you can sell subscriptions and/or recurring payments through Stripe at no extra cost.

WHAT PAYMENT METHODS CAN I ACCEPT THROUGH STRIPE?

Stripe’s payments platform lets you accept credit cards, debit cards, mobile wallets, and dozens of payment methods from around the world.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST PER TRANSACTION?

Stripe’s transaction fees are 2.9% + C$0.30
per successful card charge, but they do vary per country.

DOES EMPIRE DESIGNS CHARGE ANYTHING FOR MY TRANSACTIONS?

No, Empire Designs does not charge any additional costs for any of your transactions. Everything is included in your $100CA monthly hosting fee.

HOW DO I RECEIVE PAYMENTS?

After we setup your Stripe account, we will send you a login link which will give you ownership of the account, and then you can add your banking information to receive payments.
